"Into my spiderweb I lie, forgotten and in pain. I know I'm cursed, condemned to die and weave my soul again. Still, hatred is the only thing you'd choose for all my kind. I couldn't bloom, I couldn't sing, no good for you to find. Oh, but you crushed me yesterday, ending my dreams in fright. And, since there is no other way, I'll sting you by tonight." — Trentea Sebastian

Description:
Well time's up and that's all I got. Never got any main rods nor any 1x6 dark bley thin liftarms for the tender trucks. This version has 1 XL motor powering the front tender truck only. The M motor and gears have been ripped out of the boiler. It runs reluctantly around my test oval a couple of times before spitting out gears and stopping. Is all this worth it? It's never gonna run very reliably, I fear. The drivetrains are always the weakest link. And since I'm not building in 10 wide, I've already given up too much detail just to squeeze in batteries and IR and only 1 massive motor. I think if this one ever gets finished, I'll run it like most modern steam-with a nice Amtrak diesel right behind it!

My Lifelites kit arrived today! Yes, my TARDIS is now fully lit, internally and in the lamp at the top. All I needed to do was a small amount of drilling through the roof sections to get one of the wires through to the lamp. Otherwise, the TARDIS is as it was, I haven't even had to glue it together - it's remarkably sturdy, although I have to take it apart to turn off the lights and I'm not looking forward to that as it's a bit fiddly to cram it all back in there. Still...looks fantastic eh? No Photoshoppery involved here, I simply resized the image, otherwise you see it as it was originally taken. This is the kit I used: lifelites.com/products/110 Dr. S.

Sunday stroll of the pharaoh, driven by his trusty slave master and 14 powerslaves \m/ Created for the contest at BCN : www.brickcomicnetwork.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=350 Concept of this contest appealed to me, so took on the challenge to sculpt a sphinx, just winging it. Also drew inspiration from "300" in particular Xerxes' ride. I feel Bricksmith ( mac LDRAW ) is the right tool to make models using a wide array of parts, i'm mainly a basic brick man - I lack specialized parts - so gonna use this again in the future to preview complex models.

I don't usually post screenshots when my stuff gets attention (and when I do, I take them down after a day or two because I feel so conceited), but this is just too cool. This is from Joseph Gordon-Levitt's blog. Dude's one of my favorite actors, and he blogged my work. Wicked. Call me, Joe!

I've never really been a space head. But I always admired some of the lovely space bases which some of you share with us on flickr. I've never been much of an army builder when it comes to figs. But with the new collectables it's just so easy to build up an army. I would love to build a space base some day. These figs will be in it. They are ment to represent a retro space crew from a tv show from the 70s.

Neo: I can't swallow one of those! Morpheus: Good news, then. It's a suppository. Okay, so I am doing a 365 project again. My last project had a Lego clone trooper in each photo. This time I'm going easy on myself, any Lego minifig will do for the coming year. I will once again try to take a photo each day. Uploading is another matter, there will be delays when I'm visiting the family or taking a holiday.

Texas State Railroad Diesel Locomotive #7 Work In Progress Brick Finished. Comments and criticism, however, are welcomed. My parts still did not come in the mail. The seller says he shipped it priority, which is 2-3 days, and today was the 3rd day, not counting the day it was shipped. If it does not arrive tomorrow then I don't think I'll be able to finish the passenger cars in time for Railfest, which will not make me a happy monkey. I was able to complete the locomotive through old MOCs and tablescraps I really didn't want to tear apart, as well as 30 or so penguins who gave their scalps (1x1 tiles), and two penguins who also gave all.

Finally got my parts in the mail. Coach #44 is finished, coach #42 is still mostly in pieces. There's still a lot of testing to do, though. It. Is. HEAVY. I'm not sure my plan of having a train of 4 or 5 cars worth would be able to be pulled without the use of two motors.

Revolution begins with the Republic of New Spain and then boom, new government. Now Spain continues to grows its army and in areas of Math & Science. Hence the entire space program. Yeah it's Spain now not Japan. Spain is way cooler anyway. New creations also coming soon, with my new outdoor photography setup!
